The launch of Ochavo Studios at the Cannes 2006 Marché du Film on the French Riviera was a monumental success.

During the market, Ochavo Studios representatives met with buyers and distributors from over 30 territories signing sales deals, negotiating guarantees and royalties, and discussing projects currently in development and post-production. As a result of the quality of our completed projects, a project currently in post-production received great interest and offers from many buyers.

During the market, Ochavo Studios also picked up sales and distribution rights to several newly completed titles, which be added to the line-up shortly. These are titles that fill the void that the major studios releases do not address. They are quality titles that have great potential overseas.

As a result of the market, Ochavo Studios is now in preliminary discussions to launch its own direct-to-video label in the US. "Solely on the high-quality and production value of our premiere title, Inner Rage, we were approached by venture capitalists." stated Gaspar Hernandez III founder and producer. "Also, since video-on-demand will be a considerable market in the future, and we are already equipped with proprietary streaming servers, we will be looking into DRM in the near future and addressing that market as well."

Co-production was also discussed at length between Ochavo Studios and Wonderphil Productions, as well as a three picture deal with a co-producing company based in Dallas, Texas. Discussions on the co-production venture, concerning the three-picture deal, will be continuing through June and July.
